Superb first ski trip for families.
Avoriaz 1800 Ski Resort的点评
点评：We went to Avoriaz in February 2025, drove down with a stopover in Troyes, and drove it in one hit on the way back. Avoriaz worked really well for a first family ski holiday. The resort is set up properly for families, and it gave us a good balance between getting the kids into lessons and still having time for me and my wife to ski.
The ski school setup was the main reason it suited us. The kids were happy in lessons, location was easy to get to, and we skied from our air bnb from the 3 rd day, it also meant we could get some decent skiing in without it feeling like a logistical nightmare. Everything is easy to get to, and you are not constantly battling buses or long walks in ski boots.
The skiing itself was solid, with enough variety to keep it interesting across the week, and the village has a good atmosphere without being over the top (however I spied the places 10 years ago I would have enjoyed till 4am but alas it wasn’t to be!)
Evenings were simple and enjoyable. We spent most nights sitting outside, eating crêpes and having a few beers, which was exactly what we wanted after a day on the slopes. One night they had a park ski type comp with a jump box and rails, plus the main ski run through the centre of Avoriaz is perfect for sledging in the evening!
Overall, Avoriaz is a reliable choice for families, especially for a first trip, and we would go back if it wasn’t for a whole list of other ski resorts on the bucket list!

总而言之，阿沃里亚兹是家庭出游的可靠之选，尤其适合第一次滑雪之旅。如果不是因为还有一大堆其他滑雪胜地在计划之内，我们一定会再次光顾！
