点评：The lighthouse isn't the prettiest but getting there is worth it. You have to drive all the way to the end of E Ashley Ave on Folly Beach. Its in the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve and it is free to get on the beach and see the lighthouse. There is no parking lot and a local told us you have to park on the side of the road and all four tires have to be off the pavement or they will give you a ticket. There is about a half mile walk to the beach and 90% of it is a asphalt road that is graffitied and very cool. Then there is a short walk to the beach. You can see the lighthouse very quickly before you hit the beach. The lighthouse is offshore and you cannot go inside and the local told us they are trying to raise 8 million dollars to try and stabilize it, it is leaning a little. But I think it is a cool lighthouse and well worth the trip.
