A Must-Have Experience in Crete

点评：The winery arranged pickup for our family (2 adults, 2 children under 3) from our hotel (and drop-off afterwards) which was a nice touch.
We booked the picnic experience for our visit.
We arrived and were immediately greeted by Angel, who provided us with our experience. The staff were very friendly, and were great with the kids. My wife and I were given a glass of wine with some tasting notes and allowed to look around while our picnic basket was prepared.
Once ready, Angel took us to a secluded spot among the vines where our wines were ready and waiting. He then prepared the dishes and explained with various wines and foods, and what pairs well together. Both the wine and the food were fantastic and there was plenty of space for the kids to run about and explore safely. Once we had eaten, Angel gave us a history of the vineyard and explained their process and why Crete provides an excellent wine-producing climate.
The vineyard itself is beautiful, with a lovely outdoor seating area with a stunning view of the mountains overlooking the area.
Overall a fantastic experience that I think anyone who enjoys wine, Greek food and excellent scenery should have.
