I booked my first-ever 6-day hiking trip with Singletrack Adventures without knowing too much about what to expect, simply because I love surprises!
Little did I know just how many wonderful surprises were waiting for me. 😍
One of the most beautiful things about this trip was seeing every single person in our group wearing a smile throughout the journey. And honestly, that wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible team of Warren and Marnus.
These two gentlemen went above and beyond to take care of every little need. The attention they paid to making sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and looked after at all times was simply unbelievable. They handled every request with patience and a smile. Men with patience do exist after all! Hahaha! 😂
They made us feel so at home that, by the end of the trip, we genuinely felt like one big family. Without these two looking after us so brilliantly, I don’t think we would have managed to keep those smiles on our faces for quite so long! ❤️
And then there was the FOOD! 🍲😍
Warren and Marnus cooked the most delicious meals, and we were certainly very well fed. We barely even touched the snacks we had packed because these guys were busy baking fresh goodies for us to take along on our hikes. Who needs to worry about hiking calories when you're being spoiled like this? 😂 My only complaint is that I came home having gained weight instead of losing it!
The places where we stayed were also so rustic and beautiful, which made our evenings even more special. 🌿✨
Our guides, T-Man and Siko, were equally fantastic. Their knowledge, passion, and pride in their community and culture made the experience even more special. They kept us curious and excited about what lay ahead, always leaving us looking forward to the next day's adventure with their unforgettable words:
“Tomorrow is another day, guys!!” 😁🥾

This was my very first hiking adventure, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the world of hiking.
