点评：The park was huge, so we were prepared to do a lot of walking, sometimes over rough terrain. The trees and grounds were very well maintained, and the animals appeared to be well cared for. The staff were polite and friendly. We had the chance to speak with a couple of them, and they kindly explained many things to us.
We also witnessed the special relationship between “Checca,” the crane, and her human friend, who brought her dinner. The children especially enjoyed being able to interact with the animals.
Besides the picnic areas, there was also a children’s play area with various toys, all of which were well maintained.
We deliberately visited the park during a storm, so we had no problem exploring it because we were practically alone. It took us more Tha time three hours, so I with our pace.
However, we had trouble finding a suitable time to visit, especially because the park was closed for private events on some days, and this information was not advertised online. We also had to keep an eye out for possible promotions and limitations on the “Terre di Borromeo” website.
