点评：If you are visiting Sri Lanka, having a guide is one of the best ways to explore the island and we were fortunate to have Mr. Dammika as our chauffeur and guide (assigned to us through Holiday Raptors).
Since Mr. Dammika was arranged for us through the agency, we initially knew nothing about him. Naturally, when you are about to spend the next week traveling with a complete stranger, you can only hope that the person guiding you will be professional, friendly, and easy to get along with.
Our first impression of Mr. Dammika was at Colombo airport, where he welcomed us warmly with a sign and flower garlands. He immediately helped us secure local SIM cards and ensured that the start of our journey was smooth and hassle-free.
From the very beginning, he came across as a jovial and charismatic personality who made us feel comfortable almost instantly. He is also a great conversationalist, during our drive from the airport we spoke at length about Sri Lanka, its culture, and travel tips. His knowledge clearly reflects the experience he has gained over more than 20 years of successfully guiding tourists through the beautiful provinces of Sri Lanka.
Over the course of our 5D/6N trip, he drove us across Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Mirissa, Unawatuna, and Galle. The drives were scenic and relaxing, and he constantly shared useful insights, tips, and stories about the places we visited.
Mr. Dammika is punctual, kind, patient, and the utmost professional. He took the stress out of traveling and allowed us to simply enjoy our honeymoon.
It was also inspiring to see his dedication to his own company, Sri Tours & Travels during free time.
I would confidently recommend both Mr. Dammika and Sri Tours & Travels to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. We will certainly be returning to this beautiful country, and when we do, we will reach out directly to our good friend Mr. Dammika.
