Mixed experiences. Tours good, travel arrangements poor.

点评：This review is about NKS Travel and the tours. I’ll review the hotel separately.
I’m not entirely satisfied with the travel part.
We had two journeys with them: from Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara and from Taman Negara to the Cameron Highlands.
The first journey was fine. First a neat minibus and then a nice coach. The biggest drawback was the long stopover in Jerantut, where we stopped at the NKS office to change vehicles. However, the main reason is that they try to sell you tours there. The stop ended up taking much longer than necessary.
The second journey was very poor. Both minibuses were well past their prime, and the second one was far too small for the group – especially given the luggage, which ended up being stowed inside the minibus itself rather than in the boot. The changeover in Jerantut was also very poor. Instead of half an hour, it took nearly 1½ hours for no apparent reason.
All in all, I’m not very positive about our experiences with NKS Travel.
We also did two tours with them in Taman Negara. These were all fine. What stood out in particular was the friendly service from the staff on site. The tours themselves were good too, especially the Night Walk with an incredibly enthusiastic guide.
