Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden的点评
点评：We visited here on a cloudy afternoon.
We caught an Uber from our hotel (this seems to be the cheapest way to get around rather than the taxis at the hotel. The driver advised that there was free WiFi so we would be able to arrange a return journey. We had issues connecting at the end of our trip and the woman at the welcome desk was absolutely unhelpful - it seems as thought they weren’t interested as soon as they had our entrance fees.
We managed to hail down a taxi passing on the main road to get back but paid double what the uber charged.
There is a wide variety of trees and plants. The map provided is completely in French.
It was disappointing to see the main fountain absolutely dry and filled with leaves. This would be so much nicer if it were running. A total shame.
The toilets left a lot to be desired. Whilst there are a few dotted around the park the one I used had no lock on the door and no toilet seat.
The singular vending machine only takes ‘old notes’. This is the ONLY place you can get a snack or drink. There is real potential to open a small cafe in the ground. It would make them money to maybe get the fountain going again!
I found the garden based around medicine the most interesting (as I am a nurse).
The bats in the trees were pretty cool too.
It was lovely to spend a couple of hours wandering around but I’m not sure I’d visit again knowing what I know.

作为护士，我觉得以药用植物为主题的花园最有趣。树上的蝙蝠也相当酷。
花几个小时在这里闲逛挺愉快的，不过了解了这些情况后，我不确定还会不会再来了。
总体评分：3分。一个星评是因为员工粗鲁且漠不关心，另一个则是因为那个看起来还算新的喷泉状态破败不堪，显得杂乱无章。
