点评：I have had read all the reviews on trip advisor and it seems to alternate from one star to five stars and back again.- it gets the highest praise or the worst criticism which suggests there is a silent majority who are satisfied but do not fit into either frame
We had visited RH Paris and were bowled away by the restaurant setting and the design furniture for sale but it was like a museum of high end contemporary art.
We felt no different here except it was a country rather than a city setting.
The historic building is a sight to behold with its symmetry and elegance.On arrival a valet takes your car to the parking.
We had a late lunch reservation for 1500 hrs - not often available elsewhere in restaurants or pubs.
The Orangery is an incredible space full of light with expansive windows overlooking the rolling englIsh countryside and the largest collection of white hart deer seen in the distance.This vista is reflected fully in the mirrored other side which creates a feeling of space.Another spectacular setting
We had Mulholland Drive salad which was not only generous in portion but delicious and followed it with a refreshing affogato.
The service was professional engaging and efficient
We then visited the numerous rooms with extraordinary modern furnishings for sale - it was more like visiting a museum than a showroom as it was so high end.At various locations there was expertise and helpful advice
