点评:We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. This was easily one of the best experiences of my life. We walked in the jungle with our guide, the elephants and their Mahouts. We learned about each elephant, how the centre rescues, rehabilitates, teaches the elephants how to socialize and become elephants again. It is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time to hear each elephants story and how they came to be at the ECC. The staff here genuinely care about these large mammals and work tirelessly to protect them and educate the public. They rely almost entirely on donations and guest visits for funds. If you have a chance, you NEED to visit. If you can’t visit then consider donation and supporting the valuable work this centre provides for the dwindling number of Asian elephants remaining in “the land of a million elephants”.
