点评：We visited Tasman Sea Salt today with our children and had a wonderful experience. What impressed us most was that the entire salt-making process is still done by hand, with great care and attention to detail. In a world of mass production, it was fascinating to see how premium gourmet salt is harvested from the pristine waters of the Tasman Sea using traditional methods.
Chris was an excellent host, patiently explaining every step of the process and answering all of our questions. The tasting session was a highlight, allowing us to experience the different flavours and textures of the gourmet salts.
What really stood out was how family-friendly the tour was. The explanations were engaging and easy for children to follow, and our kids enjoyed learning where salt comes from and how it is made. It was both educational and fun, making it a great stop for families travelling around Tasmania.
After this visit, we will definitely pay more attention to where our salt comes from. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an authentic local experience that combines craftsmanship, sustainability, and a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at one of Tasmania’s unique products.
