点评：We visited Panhala Fort, Kolhapur over the weekend, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We explored the entire fort with a guide, Kedar Bhosale, who made the visit even more interesting. He explained the history and importance of each point very nicely and showed us the important places around the fort. His knowledge and way of explaining things really added value to the experience.
We travelled by car, so we were able to explore the fort comfortably and take plenty of pictures along the way. There are good roads and the fort is well maintained, making it convenient to travel around.
One thing we found interesting was that people still live inside the fort. We saw families with homes there, people using the different gates to travel from one place to another, and even government offices operating within the fort area. There are also food options and hotels available, so visitors can easily spend more time exploring.
Overall, we had a great time at Panhala Fort. The combination of history, beautiful surroundings and the experience of exploring the fort with a knowledgeable guide made our visit memorable.
If you visit Panhala, I would definitely recommend taking a local guide like Kedar Bhosale — you understand and appreciate the fort much more when someone explains the history behind each place. ❤️🏰📸
