点评:Was gifted the Sydney (The Rocks) mystery picnic and was so very disappointed in the day. It bore no resemblance whatsoever to the glossy photos they post.
The coffee was lovely - though had to queue for ages and it was really no better than others in the area but much needed by the time we got it. Massive bog standard iced donut AND a large pastry - great if you have a very sweet tooth I guess. The wrap was nice but the "platter" was so very sad I could have done better buying bits from the supermarket. Very meat heavy, but not great quality; the ham was nearly green, an 2 very plastic pieces of tasty was the only cheese. All in all, if I had paid for each of the things presented it would have cost me about $25 each and there would have been some love and care included! Overall on the food, sometimes less is more - less food, more quality and love!
The end location while it could have been lovely, there was really no seating so unless you are able to get up and down from the ground (we can't) and have carted a rug or something around the whole day, the only table with seats was by the bins and kids playground at the end of a road. Such a shame, a beauttiful city with so many amazing independent F&B vendors to pick from and this was the best you could do.
Interesting on FB Amazinco respond to the positive ones, ignore the negative ones and even go so far as to remove comments
