Top tier accessible day out.
WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre的点评
点评：What a wonderful experience!
It was a glorious day ( mid heatwave) and there were plenty of places to sit and shaded areas from the trees.
We travelled from Liverpool as a family of 4, one of which is a wheelchair user. This place was truly accessible, and I don't use that term flippantly as we have had many a day out ruined by poor accessibility despite websites promising the opposite.
Today my daughter was able to access all paths, all areas and restaurants. The most impressive thing was the hides, they all had easy ramp access and wheelchair accessible viewing windows inside. The cafe has a selection of prepacked sandwiches and jacket potatoes etc but not a massive selection. Limited selection of soft drink, no named colas etc. That didn't put us off , we still enjoyed sitting outside looking over a beautiful pond . At the end of our day purchased an annual membership at a discouted price. The only thing I might do differently next time is maybe bring more drinks and snacks.
