点评:Went on Thursday morning. Plenty of free parking. Easy walking. Many wheelchair accessible walkways but not all are paved but are cobblestone type and an easy grade. The staff (volunteers) is friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic (Thank you Mark Blanco). They really go out of their way to share the history. See the short film at the Visitor's Center. Recommend starting there as you will have a better understanding of what you will see exploring the grounds. If you are with children, there are plenty of bathrooms throughout the property close by. You can bring a picnic for the provided areas. There are guided tours on Saturday and Sunday at 10 and 1. Giving an award to the committee responsible for the informative brochures and signage both historical and botanical. I am rating this as a local hidden gem. There is a school nearby and there may be pickups/ drop offs at certain times. This is free but donations are accepted.
