点评：The current name is dedicated to the Italian mountain infantry corps whose conspicous group contributed to rebuilt after the WWII although the former name was Old Bridge. The earliest writing about this bridge dates from 1209 already described as covered wooden made and was also a toll post for those who needed to go from one side to the other.
The current shape was based on a design by Palladio, the great Renaissance architect, project published in 1570 by himself through a treatise of four volumes (third volume). Is very spacious to walk, great views on both sides and can imagine how many historical events happened in this strategic place decades/centuries ago. Very charming to stroll during the sunset time when street musicians play or early in the morning to enjoy quietness. Declared as National Monument since 2019.
