点评：Bamburgh Castle is the "King of Castles" for a reason. While the £20 entry fee is a point of debate for some, it is a vital investment in preserving our heritage. If these sites weren't funded, they’d fall into disrepair—and we’d certainly regret their loss then.
The preservation & restoration here is impeccable. Inside, the King’s Hall is breathtaking, and the Armoury offers a gritty, authentic look at the past. The exhibits are packed with fine ornaments and art, while the signage provides a deep, accessible insight into "days gone by".
The views from the ramparts across the Northumberland coast are breathtaking. Even the £6 parking fee is fair; it isn't time-restricted, meaning you can stay all day. You’re free to explore the castle, then head to the beach or village without rushing back to the car. Supporting Bamburgh ensures this iconic silhouette remains for generations. It’s history well worth the price.
