What an absolute gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Corfe Castle的点评
点评：I walked from Swanage to Corfe Castle along the winding country roads and it took me just about 2 hours. The route was beautiful – rolling hills, hedgerows, and that classic Dorset countryside charm the whole way. By the time I arrived, I already felt like I’d had a proper adventure, and the castle more than lived up to the build-up.
The ruins are stunning. Perched dramatically on the hill with incredible 360-degree views across the Purbeck countryside and the village below, Corfe Castle feels like something out of a storybook. Even as a ruin, it’s incredibly atmospheric – you can almost hear the echoes of history as you wander around.
The stonework, the remaining towers, and the sheer scale of the site are breathtaking. I spent ages exploring every corner and taking photos from every angle.
The whole experience was peaceful, fascinating, and perfectly unspoilt. Excellent value for money and the walk there made it even more rewarding. If you’re in the Swanage or Purbeck area, this is an absolute must-do. I’ll definitely be back!
