From the very start, he struck the perfect balance between storytelling and historical detail bringing the city’s rich brewing and hospitality heritage to life in a way that felt effortless and entertaining.
What really stood out was how personable & considerate he was throughout. One small but telling detail, he greeted every passer-by with a friendly “good morning” or “good afternoon.” It might seem minor, but it says everything about his character and the welcoming atmosphere he creates.
The tour itself was thoughtfully tailored to suit our Community Rail launch event, and James adapted seamlessly to our group, pace and purpose. He kept everyone engaged, made the experience feel special, and ensured it delivered exactly what we needed for the day.
His passion for the subject, depth of knowledge and natural ability to connect with people made this a standout experience. I genuinely couldn’t rate him more highly and I look forward to the next tour!
