点评:My husband and I spent the day at this park and for us it was a great day of seeing nature in our own car and by the train. We took the early tour on the train and the car we were in was restored from the 1940s. We learned it is the only national park where the train is owned by the park service. Other parks may have trains, but they are privately owned and operated. The next car had refreshments and there were restrooms in our car. The large windows allowed for great views ofr the park and the river and lakes as we passed by. For those who like to hike or bike, there were lots of trails available and no worries about large animals like bears or wild cats! There is no admission fee for the park and the train tickets are reasonably priced. Their volunteers came through the cars regularly to answer questions and give us information on the surroundings.
