Meh! The kid had fun.
North Yorkshire Moors Railway (nymr)的点评
点评：Visited for the Thomas and Friends Day Out, which we had won tickets for through our local Toy Land store. Coming from West Yorkshire we had 1 1/2 hour drive to get there but it was a ‘free’ day out. (I checked the website and could see to buy tickets for the day would have been £67ish for three of us).
We parked in the station for the day which cost £7, tickets were checked on the way in.
On the website it seemed it would be a fun packed day with lots to do. In truth in was disappointing.
‘Unlimited fun on the fairground ride’ = 1 tea cup ride, which lasted a couple of minutes.
“Thomas and Friends Tattoo Station” = a plastic tub with some sticker tattoos, with some baby wipes and a bucket of water.
“Garden games” - 3 games - a bean bag shy, a ring toss and Cornhole. (Saw kids throwing a ring over the wall into the river) never any staff monitoring these activities - some parents just letting kids run riot, but in the main everyone well behaved.
Went for out for the ride on the Thomas steam engine, which was a slow ride down the track and back, last, as advertised about 20minutes.
The staff were all fantastic, especially the characters, Sir Topham Hat, Rusty and Dusty.
Our lad 5yr old was delighted with the visit and didn’t really want to leave - which I suppose is all that matters. However I would have been really disappointed if I had have paid for £67 for this day.

我们5岁的儿子非常喜欢这次游览，都不想离开——我想这才是最重要的。不过，如果我花了67英镑就为了这一天，我会非常失望的。
