Hopetown Darlington的点评
点评：We arrived at HOPETOWN on a dull, cold and miserable January afternoon and were welcomed with such natural enthusiasm and joy that it got our visit off to a cracking start!
I'm not sure how to continue this review because there's so MUCH to say about it...I honestly can't believe that it is FREE, there's so much to see and do for ALL ages, accessibility is excellent, the displays are well thought out and the café is very reasonably priced.
For a dull January afternoon, we were surprised at how the museum was quietly ticking over.
I wouldn't want to come here when it was busy and packed out because some of the displays didn't have much space around them. But having said that, you could pop back to view what you'd missed.
I'm so pleased we visited. We learned a lot and thoroughly recommend this place. It is bursting with history, it is proud of its history and it really puts the start of the Stockton & Darlington railway firmly on the map. Every member of staff was genuinely happy and very welcoming.
I can't comment on parking as we arrived by train - the museum is well signposted from North Road Station, nor can I comment on the interactive £5 visitor ride.

我们非常庆幸自己来了这里。我们学到了很多东西，强烈推荐这个地方。这里充满了历史气息，博物馆也为自己的悠久历史感到自豪，它真正地将斯托克顿和达灵顿铁路的起源地铭刻在了历史地图上。所有工作人员都热情友好，令人倍感亲切。
由于我们是乘火车抵达的，所以无法评价停车情况——从北路火车站到博物馆的指示牌很清晰。另外，我也无法评价那项5英镑的互动式游客体验项目。
