点评：Beware. Self styled wildlife protection agents in operation!
We were on the beach with maybe a dozen other folks minding our own business when a seal came up on the beach. Basically, it was interested in us humans and although we did not approach it but stood still, allowing it to do its thing, this was not on for a local woman who, first asked, then demanded we get off the beach, stating ‘Natural England ‘ advice was to stay 100 meters away to allow this animal to come ashore and rest. It didn’t need to rest. I appreciate that one should not approach wild life, like jet skiers chasing dolphins, but if dolphins approach a jet ski, that’s ok. Just act calm and enjoy the occasion.
In short, expect to be bossed if you are lucky enough to see wildlife. Also, go to Kingsand next bay along and buy a pasty.
