Brilliant tour, a must do in Kyoto

点评：We were very lucky to have Alex as our guide for our private Gion Kyoto Night Walking Tour. Even before we met he had reached out to introduce himself and explain the meet up point. He even sent a photo of himself so we knew who to look out for.
Alex was warm, friendly, easy to chat to, and hugely knowledgeable about Kyot
o and Japanese history and culture. I found our conversation about Geishas especially interesting and Alex was great at answering my many questions!
The Gion area was busy but Alex cleverly navigated us through the crowds and found us spaces to stop and talk. He even found some alleyways where we were the only people there. No mean feat in busy Gion!
We learned a lot about the area, Japanese culture, and life in Japan. We saw some beautiful shrines. Alex was a skilled photographer too and we have some great photos as a reminder of our tour.
Finally Alex left us with some suggestions of where to grab a tasty dinner.
He also very kindly offered to help us with other suggestions for things to do in Kyoto during the rest of our stay.
Alex was a great guide. We would definitely book with him again if ever we in Kyoto again. Thanks Alex!
