点评:We have stayed at the nearby woolacombe bay park, we prefer to drive the slightly longer distance as the direct road to beach is very tight, with not a lot of pull in bays.
Woolacombe beach is in a dog friendly section and one where dogs are not allowed. Our first visit we waited till after 3:30pm as the car parks reduce their rates from £14 to £7, we then did the short walk to the non dog side, it was quiet busy, as the weather wasn’t to sunny, our next visit we parked slightly further away in the national trust car park, this was £10 for the day and you are able to come and go. We walked down the sand dunes to the dog friendly beach and this for us was the best side, less people and very spaced out. The walk back up the dunes isn’t for the faint hearted, if you have mobility issues this is not recommended. Overall woolacombe is lovely but in the peak season it’s very busy and parking is very expensive.
