Absolutely stunning beach!

点评：Well, where do I start with this stunning beach! This was the local beach to where we were staying at Port De Plaisance. We were torn as to whether we needed to drive or if it was walkable (we have a 4 and 8 year old so you never know what mood they would be in!). I googled mapped it and it said it's between 20 and 25 minutes walk, at a steady pace I'd say it's 20 minutes away.
The walk it's self is nice, lots of pavements and crossings. Some beautiful houses to look at as you head to and from the beach.
The beach it's self is simply beautiful. It's in a bay with crisp clear seawater. It's a sandy beach, rather than full of rocks. There was plenty of space for us to enjoy ourselves and wasn't busy at all. There are public toilets available for free, they do the job! There are plenty of restaurants, cafes etc nearby to get food, ice creams etc.
Parking is hard to judge as we just walked each time, there doesn't appear to be roadside parking on the road to the beach and at the beach itself, but this did appear to be busy.
We visited Les Sans Souci one evening (just me and the wife, child free!). Firstly, this is a must visit (I have left a recent review). Afterwards we walked along the promenade along the beach to the harbour. It was great to see couples and groups of teens enjoying themselves on the beach. All very pleasant and just having a good time. Nothing like the beaches at home in the UK!
All in all it's a beautiful beach, sea is clear and refreshing. Nearby cafes and restaurants open all day. Definitely a must visit!
