Spectacular cherry blossom in April

点评：Stunning garden with plenty of interesting sections and features. The highlight for us was the cherry blossom in the orchard. We were very lucky to visit at just the right time to see it in full bloom. They had made it into a really special experience with atmospheric (but not intrusive) music, lanterns hung in the trees and swing chairs. Could have spent hours in there it was marvelous.
Wasn't the right time of year for other parts of the garden e.g. Rose garden, but that's the thing with gardens.
Spectacular centrepiece of the grand cascade. We also booked and paid £1 extra for the poison garden tour which is well worth a look, with a very entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide.
The garden overall was perhaps not quite as big as I had imagined, and the cafe was a little disappointing (would have expected a much better selection of cakes and of course there were the usual large queues) but I can't not give it 5 starts as we had a wonderful morning. Spent about 2.5 hours there.
