点评：First, the bad. When booking we were told by the rep that for the June dates we were targeting, we would have more fish than we could handle, going so far as to talk us down from 5 days fishing to 4. The reality was far from that. Fish were scarce. And with BC’s infinite wisdom of requiring barbless hooks, the few fish we did hook up on were lost well before getting them to the boat. Just to be clear, we are experienced fishermen having fished on the BC and Alaska coast for decades. And the fish finder doesn’t lie. For the most part we were fishing over rocks.
The good (and the only reason I wouldn’t try to give a zero rating) was the staff. Mostly young teens and 20s, they were great - friendly, engaging, helpful and just a pleasure to be around, often going above the call of duty to accommodate me.
A note for management - coach your reps to be honest about what your fishermen can expect. This was a wasted trip and a waste of money.
