点评:We like to go to a zoo on our first day in country. Being outside helps reset our biological clocks and eases jet lag. This proved to be the case here. This is a large zoo. The elephant program was particularly good. We were able to see staff working on training and footcare from the public area--that's always a good sign of good care. We also really liked the red panda area--a series of connected areas that the panda was really using during our stay. We really recommend mapping out how to use public transit to get ot the zoo. We did, and it helped, but you have to take two busses from the main train station. That puts you at the Flamingo entrance. There's another entrance near an U-bahn stop on the other side of the zoo. Great for families too. There are good dining options. There is a spot across from the elephant exhibit, so we were able to have a good, reasonably priced lunch while watching the elephants go about their day. They have a young bull calf who was playing and trying to spar with his dad. Highly Recommended.
