点评：THE BEST VISITOR ATTRACTION I HAVE EVER BEEN TO - visited from UK with my wife , cousin and 10yr old daughter.
Absolutely fantastic experience at Sovereign Hill! From the moment we walked in, it genuinely feels like we had stepped back in time to the gold rush era. The attention to detail is incredible—staff in costume, working shops, and immersive demonstrations all bring the history to life in a way that’s engaging for all ages. The guy at the fire station was brilliant to talk to , in fact all of the character's went out of their way to engage with us and were very informative and great fun.
The gold panning was a real highlight (yes we found some and took some home with the help of John the Prospector), and the live demonstrations—like the blacksmith and candle making—were both informative and entertaining.
Everything was so well organised, clean, and easy to navigate. There’s so much to see and do, so I’d definitely recommend allowing at least a full day to make the most of it, or 2 if you can.
We met the man that was in charge of looking after the character's (mostly volunteers) and he was very lovely too.
Right down to the staff in the cafes we were blown away by the great attitude of all that worked on the site.
A brilliant mix of education and fun—highly recommended for families, history lovers, or anyone visiting Victoria!
