Decent Lounge Experience, Could Be Better

点评:I visited The House Lounge by Aspire at Sydney Airport and found it decent overall. Compared to other airport lounges I’ve visited, this one felt quite average. For a major airport like Sydney, the experience was a bit underwhelming.
When I arrived, I had to wait about five minutes at the entrance as the staff were busy discussing something and didn’t notice the queue forming. The lounge itself is spacious, but some of the furniture looks old (as seen in the photos), and the curtains don’t block the sunlight very well.
The food area had a decent selection, but the variety was limited. I did have a mild stomach bug the next day — not necessarily from the lounge food, as I also ate on the flight, but worth mentioning.
On the positive side, the bathrooms were clean, there was a kids’ room, and shower facilities were available. Overall, it’s a fine place to rest before a flight, but there’s room for improvement to match Sydney’s international airport standards.
