Humiliated and embarrassed
The House Lounge by Aspire, Sydney的点评
点评：I visited the Aspire Lounge in Sydney to relax during my travels, but my experience was disappointing. When I went to order a second drink, a staff member asked me how many drinks I had already had in a way that was humiliating and left me feeling very embarrassed. I am 56, traveling for work, and was not behaving as if I had overindulged.
What made it worse is that other guests were freely ordering two or three drinks, including a group I spoke to afterwards who were on their fourth drink and were not questioned at all. This inconsistent and unnecessary policing left me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Aspire Lounge needs to enforce policies respectfully.
Whilst I did receive an apology after I spoke to the manager , it shouldn’t have happened in the first place as a female solo traveller I felt very uncomfortable about the whole situation
