点评：We drove all the way there (over an hour in Chicago traffic) for the Route 66 Centennial. It was "closed due to weather" due to rain on 6/11/26. Seriously. A little rain. The town is in rough shape. You can't see the jail or any of the attractions with this place closed. The Rock and Roll museum was open though and was ok, only 1 floor was open. We did get out and look at the prison. Joliet was very disappointing. We have been all over Route 66 and this one is a dud. Pontiac, IL is so much nicer-- recommend you spend the day there instead. If you must go, park at the Harrah's parking garage and not the public garage as the website tells you, we made that mistake. There are no shops and nothing to look at. It looks nothing like the website. Don't waste your time.
