点评：A wonderful trip, just as we’d hoped. The welcome at Waterloo Station was still a bit uncertain.
But the service provided by the entire staff afterward was fantastic! The assistance, the food, and the comfort of traveling on a historic train—all superb. The atmosphere and their dedication to making us feel at ease.
We traveled to Kingswear to also see Greenway (Agatha Christie’s estate). The train perfectly captured the era and atmosphere of the journey. Our visit to Greenway was a success after getting off at Paignton and returning by ferry to Dartmouth.
Picturesque places. Kingswear, too, with its own station.
The day went by too quickly and was incredibly enjoyable. A train with a steam locomotive (coupled outside London), excellent company from fellow travelers, and great food.
