VelociCoaster alone makes Islands of Adventure worth returning to
环球冒险岛的点评
点评：We really enjoyed Islands of Adventure and for us it was definitely the stronger of the two original Universal parks.
VelociCoaster was absolutely amazing and easily our favourite ride. So good we did it twice. Hulk and Kong were also great and we really enjoyed Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls.
We arrived from Universal Studios on the Hogwarts Express and really enjoyed that experience too. Definitely more than just a way of getting between the two parks!
The park was incredibly quiet when we visited which was lovely and meant we hardly had to wait for anything.
I also think Islands of Adventure has aged much better than Universal Studios. It feels more modern and the rides are just much better. Jurassic Park was excellent and better than I expected. We’re not Harry Potter fans, but you can’t help but appreciate the amount of time, effort and money that’s gone into making that whole area so immersive.
The park was generally clean and tidy, although a couple of the toilets could have done with more attention throughout the day.
The staff were probably the weakest part. Nobody was particularly rude, but there wasn’t much warmth either. A couple barely spoke and some interactions felt more like a grunt than a welcome.
We didn’t eat in the park after some disappointing food experiences elsewhere at Universal, so headed to CityWalk instead.
Would we return? Absolutely, and VelociCoaster would be the main reason. That’s the big difference for me compared with Universal Studios – IOA has that attraction that makes me want to come back and ride it again.

整个公园总体来说干净整洁。虽然一天下来有几间厕所确实需要更多打理。
工作人员可能是最让人不满意的部分。没人特别无礼，但也缺乏热情。有几对情侣几乎没怎么说话，有些互动听起来更像是哼声而非问候。
由于在环球影城其他地方的用餐体验不尽如人意，我们没在公园里吃饭，而是直接去了CityWalk。
我们还会再来吗？当然，而VelociCoaster就是我们再来的主要原因。对我而言，这就是与环球影城最大的区别——IOA有那样一个游乐项目，让我总想再回来乘坐一次。
