露纹酒庄的点评
点评：Wandered over to the restaurant and tasting room through the stunning grounds of the estate. Was greeted by Huen who organised a tasting for us, as we had booked lunch in the restaurant we were able to sample all the current releases. Huen was very knowledgeable and he gave us not only an overview of what we were tasting but also an insight into the specific sites from which the grapes were harvested and how they were treated in the winery. The wines were uniformly excellent and visiting the cellar door enabled us to taste wines rarely seen on the East Coast (their sparkling wine and their riesling). The stars of the show, the Art Series premium wines did not disappoint, they were fabulous.
We thoroughly enjoyed lunch in the restaurant, both the food and the service was first rate. We finished our visit by viewing the art gallery downstairs which contained much of the artwork commissioned by the winery for their Art Series labels.
A really enjoyable visit made even more so by excellent staff, in particular Huen in the tasting room.
