点评：I was excited to hear that the Sanctuary had reopened after the damage caused by the storms, and I planned my visit to the mountains around the opportunity to see it.
The surroundings are a beautiful combination of nature, culture and art. The Indigenous sculptures, celebration of Country and inspirational inscriptions create a really special and somewhat unexpected experience.
The staff at reception were very friendly and happily looked after my snacks when I realised that food wasn’t allowed inside.
At times we needed to wait for others to pass before taking photos, but overall we were easily able to take our time and read the inscriptions without feeling rushed.
There is no entrance fee, the toilets were clean, and we spent about an hour and a half exploring and appreciating everything.
I’m looking forward to visiting again once all of the restoration work has been completed.
