点评:Easy walk from King's bridge to the first basin (use the established path on the right side of the bridge), go round the basin and along the Alexander Bridge and back. The entire loop is around 2.9 km but the walk is easy and any fitness level should have no trouble doing it. It took us about 1 hour strolling with stopping in between to observe the peacocks (currently 90 in residence). We also glimpsed wild wallabies. You have the option of going on the chairlift over the first basin. There is also a longer walk down to Duck Reach. There is also a harder walk on the left hand side of King's bridge which requires a lot of stair climbing and less paved areas. There is a cafe at First basin for you to enjoy a drink and rest before you do the return journey. At the First Basin, there is a large pool for swimming and splashing in. Along the gorge there are various spots where stronger swimmers can jump in for a swim. But it's the sight and the beautiful natural area that makes it a must see.
