点评：There’s something wonderfully fitting about Her Majesty’s Theatre being the grand old house for Arthur Miller’s classic Death of a Salesman. Like many of us, this was a play I first encountered as part of the school curriculum, but seeing it brought to life on stage is an entirely different experience.
Anthony LaPaglia leads a stellar cast, bringing a rawness and vulnerability to Willy Loman that makes his unraveling incredibly difficult to watch. The entire cast is superb, with each character feeling so real and deeply human. There’s no overplaying the emotion — instead, it builds slowly and relentlessly, drawing you further into the Loman family’s world.
The characters reach in and slowly squeeze your heart a little tighter with every scene, until you’re left facing that final, devastating conclusion.
A powerful, beautifully performed production of a timeless classic. It’s the kind of theatre that stays with you long after the curtain falls.
