Yanchep National Park的点评
点评：Despite living close by, my elderly friend in her 80's hadn't visited Yanchep National Park for a long time. So off both of us went. We were greeted at the entrance by a lovely person who put a smile on our faces. It was a lovely day last Thursday, windy and not too hot. Easy to walk around on days like this when you have mobility issues. We saw two koalas and the baby one huddled up in their trees. Lots of flowering natives, flowers,birdlife and the kangaroos were resting. Very peaceful place. Had lunch at the Yanchep Inn which wasn't that good. Lots of flies at this time of the year but that is spring time in Australia. The public toilets near the Inn had no soap and the bins were overflowing so a sign that they had not been attended on a daily basis. Bit disappointing really as it is a tourist spot and we need to make sure we keep up our standards. There was no litter elsewhere that we could see so the Park keepers are maintaining it well. The signage to the cafe and Visitors Centre could do with a spruce up. Love the friendly owner and people in the cafe, Chocolate Drops. The doors to the Visitor Tourist Centre could be made to look better but keep their original charm which is what this Park is all about. I am 74 and I will come back soon to enjoy one of the easy trail walks and the peaceful setting. Yanchep itself is a thriving suburb now with new houses being built to cope with our increasing population and this Park is a great place to visit, to explore and for everyone to enjoy. This review is not meant to be a criticism but what we saw as improvements that could be made to enhance this lovely natural Park.
