Worst service experience with Expat Explore

点评：I have not had the opportunity of doing the Best of UK and Ireland tour as yet which is scheduled for 31 August 2026.
This review is based on the level of service I have NOT received to date.
The tour was booked earlier this year and a deposit of Euro 400 paid with the booking.
In June I contacted Expat Explore for an itinerary and accommodation details in order to apply for an Irish visa.
I was informed that the accommodation details would only be provided if I paid for the full amount of the tour.
This I found to be highly irregular being requested to pay upfront for a tour before being provided with the accommodation I would be paying for.
Subsequent communication revealed if this was not to my liking I could cancel the trip and forfeit my deposit.
Contacting another source I was able to establish where we would be staying in Ireland and then submitted my application for an Irish visa.
I have now received communication that the full amount for the tour is due 60 days before departure as stipulated in the contract.
I have explained that I am waiting for the Irish visa to be issued and would pay the outstanding amount of 4000 euro as soon as I received the visa. I also explained that the delay in obtaining details of the accommodation in Ireland from Expat Explore delayed my application.
Once again I have received communication demanding payment of the full amount within 24 hours or my deposit will be forfeited and the booking cancelled.
For the record, as a seasoned international traveler, I have never experienced this lack of service from any travel organization I have dealt with.
Shame on you Expat Explore.
