点评:I was planning a trip to Tonga and emailed them about a tour that I liked. The response was very casual, no greetings or thanking for the interest, etc that you usually see in formal communications. It was just a one line that yes we can do it and this is the price. I replied back asking if there are any discounts (because I thought price was a bit higher then it should be). It is not unreasonable to ask for a discount. I have traveled to over 150 countries, so I am not naive, I am experienced traveler. I received a very rude and unprofessional reply, one liner again '' do you ask for a discount at gas station". A professional company would have replied saying that sorry this is our final price, no discount. It doesnt have to be rude, unprofessional and sarcastic. I never had an email from a tour agency at this level of professionalism, Needless to say, I did not communicate further with them. If this is how they handle pre tour communication, I would wonder how would it be on a tour. Instead I found a better company, who offered better price, better tours, and were professional.
