Quad Activities Constance Flacq的点评
点评：My girlfriend and I spent 3 awesome hours with Gilbert, our knowledgeable guide. Neither of us had previous experience with quadbikes, but Gilbert had plenty of patience and briefed us thoroughly, so we were feeling at ease after the first 15 minutes of riding.
We toured the vast plantations of pineapple, bananas, and sugar cane, as well as smaller lots with varied exotic herbs and spices. We stopped often along the way to take pictures and learn about the crops’ uses and the island’s history in general. The guide spoke perfect English, with French as his mother tongue. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge greatly enhanced the experience—I have to mention that he asked me to write a review in my native language, but sadly this platform does not support it at the moment.
The cost for 2 people sharing a bike is 5,000 rupees (roughly $110), which we paid by card at the end. Since there were no other people attending that day, Gilbert kindly offered us one bike each at no extra cost.
As far as I could tell, this is a small, family-operated business. Bookings are done via email or WhatsApp, with admin handled by Caroline, a lovely lady. She had some forms for us to sign when we arrived and prepared some snacks and refreshments at the end, which were greatly appreciated.
We spent 8 days in Mauritius and tried quite a few of the available activities, but this was my favourite, and I recommend it wholeheartedly (just don’t forget to pack your mosquito repellent).
