点评：Took the passenger ferry from Circular Quay area (near the Opera House) for a quick 45 minute ride to the Manly Beach wharf area, which is conveniently located walking distance from the town and beach area. The ferries are frequent and huge, accommodating hundreds of people both commuters, locals, and tourists alike. The beach at Manly beach is a short walk from the ferry stop, and there are lots of stores, restaurants, and bars along the way, along with street musicians.
The beach is lively, and there is a nice paved walkway along the beach passing by hills, cliffs, and multi-million dollar homes.
A nice siop for a brewski, burger and people watching is the pub at the historic Steve Hotel, which sits along the beach area and is a fun place to relax for a cold one or lunch.
We spent the day at Manly Beach as tourists and loved it! We took the ferry back, and timed it so it was early evening, offering stuffing views of the Sydney Harbor Bridge and Opera House. Highly recommended by us1
