A Real Disappointment
Yuasa Important Traditional Building Preservation Area的点评
点评：We were drawn to the history and charm of Yuasa, and planned our visit mainly around this destination. In hindsight, this was a misjudgment and I’m sharing this review in the hope that it can be constructive for future visitors and for the area itself.
Unfortunately, we found the town quite dirty and disorganized, with rubbish scattered in several places. This was very disappointing, as we did not expect to see such a neglected side of Japan. We arrived full of enthusiasm, but instead found many buildings in poor condition, numerous shops closed (we visited during a week in October), and an overall rather sad and deserted atmosphere. At times, it felt almost abandoned.
It’s truly a shame, because the historical and cultural potential of Yuasa is remarkable. We sincerely hope the town can receive the care and attention it deserves in the future
