点评：Lanikai Pillbox Trail Sunrise Hike This Morning: Views for Days 🌅🏞️
I started my morning with the Lanikai Pillbox Trail and it did not disappoint! What a way to wake up the body and the soul.
I got there early enough to catch the sunrise, and the trail was just challenging enough to feel rewarding without being overwhelming. Some steep sections and stairs, but nothing too intense — perfect for keeping the heart rate up while still being able to enjoy the views. The weather this morning was gorgeous: clear skies, a refreshing breeze coming off the ocean, and that soft golden sunrise light reflecting beautifully on the water.
Reaching the pillboxes and seeing the twin Mokulua Islands out in the distance with the sun coming up behind them was absolutely breathtaking. The whole coastline, the turquoise water, and the lush hills — it’s one of those views that makes you feel lucky to be alive.
A fun bonus: the picture attached was taken by a new friend I met last night at the Mai Tai bar. He’s got great energy (and plenty of it) and was happy to snap a few shots for me this morning. Let’s just say I’ve found someone who can keep up with this mid-50s single lady’s pace… in more ways than one 😉. The aloha spirit continues!
If you’re on Oahu and enjoy hikes with epic payoff, add Lanikai Pillbox to your list. It’s popular for good reason — shorter than Diamond Head but every bit as scenic. Bring good shoes, water, and sunscreen. Early morning is definitely the move before it gets hot and crowded.

到达碉堡，看到远处的莫库鲁阿双岛，太阳从它们背后缓缓升起，这景色简直令人叹为观止。整条海岸线、碧绿的海水、郁郁葱葱的山丘——这景色让人不禁感叹，活着真好。
还有一个小惊喜：附图是我昨晚在迈泰酒吧认识的新朋友拍的。他精力充沛（而且非常旺盛），今天早上很乐意帮我拍几张照片。这么说吧，我终于找到了一个能跟上我这个五十多岁单身女士节奏的人……而且不止一方面😉。阿罗哈精神永存！
如果你在瓦胡岛，喜欢那种能让你收获满满的徒步之旅，那就把拉尼凯碉堡 (Lanikai Pillbox) 列入你的行程吧。它很受欢迎是有原因的——虽然比钻石山 (Diamond Head) 短，但风景却毫不逊色。记得带上舒适的鞋子、水和防晒霜。最好是清晨出发，避开炎热和拥挤的人群。
我已经开始感激又一个在天堂般的地方度过的美好一天了。强烈推荐！🌺
