Newport Railway Museum的点评
点评：I went with a historical costume group to the Newport Railway Museum, which gave it that extra special experience.
The Newport Railway Museum is excellent. There is plenty of parking, but if you are coming via public transport, the North Williamstown Station is the nearest to the museum.
The museum is totally run by volunteers, they are very helpful, friendly and happy to answer any questions. There are many trains, one can go inside and explore. The trains are opened at different times. They announce when each train is open to explore.
Unfortunatly one needs to be able to walk up stairs to go into the trains. So if you're in a wheelchair or walker, one wont be able to get into the trains.
I loved how over speakers they had the sound effects of trains and train horns, to add to that experience.
There are public toliets, follow the sign.
There is a modest display inside a building next to the ticket box / gift shop.
Overall a fantastic place, I will go again.
