点评：I LOVE AVIATION, ESPECIALLY THE HISTORY OF IT, COMMERCIAL AIRLINES AND FIGHTER COMBAT AIRCRAFT, DID YOU KNOW THAT AIRCRAFTS HAD TERMS LIKE NEO STANDING FOR NEW ENGINE OPTION WHICH MODERNIZED A320-FAMILY JETS WITH NEW ENGINES + SHARKLETS LIKE THE A320neo OR A321neo ALSO MEANING UPGRADED VERSION? DID YOU KNOW X STANDS FOR NEXT GENERATION / EXPERIMENTAL/ eXtended IN THE BOEING FAMILY LIKE THE 777X (777-8 and 777-9) AND 737 MAX 10X (concept stage)?
Alright, I'm sorry, back on track.
Firstly, I would highly recommend visiting this place especially for aviation nerds like me which is next to Moorabbin Airport, it has real life models of historical planes that haven't been striped yet. They include World War 2 planes, jet turbine modern planes, helicopters and some small airliners, some of them have access to the inside (cockpit) with adjustable buttons, levers and switches (don't work but satisfying).
They have a warehouse including mostly World War 2 propeller planes like American Mustangs and Curtiss Warharks, British Supermarine Spitfires and Hawker Hurricanes and a few modern era jets (I forgot but maybe it was a Lockheed F-104 or F/A-18 Hornet). The warehouse also had a flight simulation machine for kids and an interior cockpit for an outdated airliner.
Outside, there were 1960's helicopters like from Vietnam War and Korean War, a few biplanes and single/ double seat planes (not military) were parked in a few smaller sheds, at the very front of the museum (left side) was the half interior of an early 2000's Boeing airliner which had most things intact and access inside.
Overall, I had a really nice experience here where the museum teaches us the history of planes, the timeline of development as well as types of uses including sports, rotary aircraft, military, cargo and passenger.
