Disappointing food - we won't visit again

点评：Went for sunday lunch. We were asked to pre-order meat at time of booking which we did. Friendly, efficient and attentive wait staff. However a couple of issues which mean we would not recommend and would not go back. There was a menu on our table which showed the starters available and the main sunday lunch meat options. We were looking at the starter options and deciding what to have when our main meals arrived at the table. Apparently you have to pre-order starters too which we were not told about at time of booking. The beef was inedible - very chewy - I couldn't even cut it. We took it away for the dogs. I did mention to a staff member that the beef was inedible and I saw him talking to the chef - however, i got the impression that the chef did not agree with my assessment. There was no customer service in respect of the inedible food. The staff member did not come back to me after speaking to the chef. I had a dessert which I enjoyed. We then paid and left. No compensation for the inedible food. Not the cheapest sunday lunch around - much better food around the area.
