点评：Hiked as group of 4, self guided from Section 3 to 12; starting at Standley Chasm. You can book your hike access online (northern territories parks & wildlife services) and I highly recommend using Brad, operator ASP Private Hire for shuttle assistance; comfortable mini bus; got collected from Alice Springs Airport. Then assisted by providing needed gas supplies and other items for our trek. He also organised where our
food supply drops went along the trail, and at end of hike we could collect any personal items not taken in our backpacks, plus he goes the extra mile disposing of our rubbish.
You need to wear sturdy ankle hiking boots and be prepared for temperatures varying from hot to cold.
My favourite sleeping spot was Hermits Hideout, watching sundown and sun up. No toilet facilities there, so take dog bag and handy towel if you wish to preserve the environment.
